Terms & Conditions

By making a booking you are entering into an agreement to honour the following terms and conditions

Booking Fee For Weddings
Once the booking has been accepted you will be asked for a non-refundable £50 deposit along with a booking form to fill in. This is a prepayment towards the final bill. This is to be paid by cheque or bank transfer.  We do not secure the date without a deposit or form.
Cheques should be made payable to ‘Mobile Hairdressing by Jen’
Once the deposit has been paid with the booking form, the wedding date will be secured.

Cancellation Policy
In the highly unlikely event that I cancel the booking for your wedding or Extensions, your deposit will be returned to you in full.

If you wish to cancel your hair booking, please bear in mind that the deposit is non-refundable.  For cancellations after full payment, the folowing refunds apply:


6 months before the wedding date: Full refund, not including deposit. 
3-5 months before the date 75% refund, not including deposit.
2 months before the wedding dat:  50% refund, not including deposit.
1 Month before wedding, no refund.

Please bear in mind that once we have booked and secured the date for you, we do turn down other weddings.  We take bookings up to a year in advance and do turn many down.  The refund is lower, the closer it is to the date as we would be losing takings and most likely not be able to get anymore bookings.
 

The above does not relate to the bridal trial which takes place before the wedding day. This can be changed up to 3 days before the date of the arranged trial date at no extra cost.
 

Prices
Once you have been quoted a price for your wedding this will not change unless the details change or booked the following year.  Every year, our prices go up after Christmas.  Any weddings booked before Chirstmas for the following year, will get the current year prices.  I.e if you book in Novemeber 2011 for April 2012, you will get 2011 prices.  Please let me know at the trial if there will be anymore people requiring hair so I can assure i have enough time.

Payment
The remaining balance must be paid at the trial or bank transfer a fortnight after.  This can be paid by cash or cheque at the trial.  If you require an invoice, please let me know.

Cancellation Policy for Colour/Cutting Appointments
A cancellation fee of 50% of the appointment value will be charged if less than 24hours notice.
